Avro Vulcan, Museum of Flight, East Fortune

Now fenced off so you can't take a photo of your car under it :-) The Missile next to it is the Blue Steel Nuclear stand off missile, designed to be released up to 240km away from the target, giving the bomber a chance to escape before being detected, or at least so they hoped. The warhead would have been 1.1 Megatons and they were deployed between 1963 and 1970.
