The Clyde Arc. River Clyde, Glasgow
The first bridge to be built across the Clyde in Glasgow for 37 years, it takes a new road across from Govan to Finnieston. It was offcially opened and named on the 18th September 2006, but Glaswegians are never happy with posh names like 'Arc' and have called it the 'squinty' bridge since it crosses the river at an angle.
