Looking down Bowmore Main Street, Islay

The view down to the harbour from the Round Church at the top of the Main Street in Bowmore. Bowmore was founded in 1768 and was constructed as a planned town. The streets are laid out on a grid pattern with the main street as the axis. Map location.
