Hunterston from Largs, 2014
Looking over towards the Hunterston Peninsula. The white buildings on the right are the now decommissioned Hunterston A power station, they grey buildings are Hunterston B which probably only has a few more years to go before it closes. The wind turbine on the left sits in the former oil rig construction yard and is presently a test site for off shore turbines. There are 2 turbines, the highest of which is 193m tall.
