Inside The Linthouse Building, Scottish Maritime Museum, Irvine

This building was originally the Engine Shop for Alexander Stephens & Sons of Linthouse, Govan. It was moved by the Scottish Maritime Museum from Govan to Irvine and rebuilt as it would have been in 1872. In 1872 it cost 14,000 to build, the cost of the move was considerably more.
