The Wicker Man, Creetown Heritage Museum

Although the 1973 film "The Wicker Man" was supposed to be set on The Summer Isles, none of it was filmed there. Significant portions were filmed around Dumfries & Galloway. Amongst natural history and local history displays the Creetown Heritage Museum also has anectdotes and memoirs of the filming.
