HM Naval Base Clyde, more commonly known as Faslane base, Gareloch
The Royal Navy has been at Faslane since 1940 and the base has expanded greatly since then.  It has been associated with Nuclear Submarines since HMS Dreadnought first arrived in 1963, it was then made home to the Polaris fleet in 1967 and then in 1996 Trident.  On the right are mine sweepers, in the centre are attack submarines and on the left the Trident area with the massive ship-lift building.
