Calderpark Zoo, Glasgow, May 1959 & Sept. 1960, 8mm colour film, no sound

Calderpark Zoo had a turbulent history after it was opened in 1947, it always lived in the shadow of the much bigger Edinburgh Zoo only 40 miles away. It was laterly renamed to Glasgow Zoo but finally closed in 2003 after financial problems.
