The Twelve Apostles, stone circle, Dumfries
At first glance this looks like a field with cows, but look closer and you'll see 11 standing stones (there were probably 12 at one time).   This is the largest stone circle in Scotland with a diameter of 88m, but it isn't very well known probably because it is less spectacular than other smaller circles.
