Upper stonework at Rosslyn Chapel
It 1995 is was discovered that earlier preservation work done in the 1950;s had trapped moistre in the stonework of the Chapel causing damage to the roof and carvings. The trust decided to construct a temporary metal frame work and roof over the entire structure to allow the stone to dry naturally. This gives the visitor a chance to get high up around the roof and see some of the carvings close up. The plan is to remove the structure in late 2009
